I played many sports growing up, but specialized in tennis, taking lessons from former touring pro, RIck Bograd, and training year round at Waldwick Covered Courts. Senior year, I was named an All-County Singles player while competing for Ridgewood High School. In college, I played singles and doubles for Kenyon college, a perennial top 25 D III program.

I began teaching in the summer following my freshman year of college and quickly discovered a love of teaching rivaling my love of playing. I worked at the Upper Ridgewood Tennis Club and the Joel Ross Tennis and Sports Camp. A few years after graduating college, I began teaching in the north Jersey area full-time. I've been a teaching professional at Waldwick Covered Courts for over eight years.

Many of my students have played varsity tennis for their high schools and have gone to play college tennis at both the club and varsity level. I enjoy working all ages and abilities from five-year-old beginners to USTA league players.
